We are open 7 days a week. Monday to Saturday 8am – 5.30pm and Sunday 9am – 5.30pm.

What is there to do?
You are able to feed, handle and stroke most of the animals.

 

Specially organised ‘Animal Encounters’ are run daily throughout the year. During these our staff will host interesting talks and demonstration with some of our more exotic animals.

 

There are various indoor and outdoor play areas. There are also special events we do throughout the year.  Sign up to our newsletter and have the information delivered straight into your inbox!

 

Do you have indoor areas?
Yes, we have a heated indoor Play Barn.  While the kids play, Mum & Dad can relax with a cup of coffee and a selection of hot and cold food from our Cheeky Monkeys café with its relaxing seating area.

 

How long does it take to get round the park?

We recommend visitors allow themselves 2-3 hours at least to fully explore all of our facilities.
 
What Catering facilities do you have? 
Our Cheeky Monkey’s café offers a wide selection of food and drinks. From bean to cup coffees, muffins, cookies and cakes to light lunches such as soup & baguettes, sandwiches and jacket potatoes.  We serve children’s hot and cold meals as well as more traditional meals such as Lasagne and Ploughmans.

Cheeky Monkey’s café is open from 9am – 5.30pm for drinks and snacks.  Hot food is served until 5.00pm.  There are also high chairs and baby food warming facilities. 

 

We also have a burger bar which is open at the  following times:  Easter Holidays, Summer Holidays and weekends from April to September (weather permitting)
 
You will also find Jakes Café in the shopping village serving Fairtrade products which you can enjoy on the sundeck!
 
You are welcome to bring picnics during the warmer months which can be consumed in our outdoor picnic areas. However, food brought into the park cannot be consumed in our indoor areas

Do you offer discounts for groups or school bookings?
Yes, we offer fun educational days out at Woodside, with discounted rates for groups of 20 people or more. Click here for further information.
 
Do you take credit cards?
Yes we accept all credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express.
 
Do you have a cash machine?
Yes, we have a cash machine situated in the Farm Shop.
 
Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, we have three areas. One in Cheeky Monkey’s Play Barn, one by the Crazy Golf course, and one in the car park toilets for retail customers. Click here to view our interactive map
 
What will I do if I should require any First aid?

Do you have wheelchairs for hire?
Yes, we have wheelchairs which can be hired, however, they need to be pre-booked.
 
Are dogs allowed on the farm?
Sorry, we can only allow guide dogs,

 

Do you sell Poultry?
Yes, Woodside Poultry Centre keeps several breeds of poultry, hybrid hens and pure breeds.  We also sell poultry housing, feeders and drinkers, incubators, heat lamps, and much more.Â

 

Do I have to pay to visit the Shopping Village?
No, entry and parking to the Shopping Village is free. 

 

Can I adopt the animals at Woodside?
Yes, by adopting an animal you will be helping to pay for the animal’s food and housing as well as it’s care and welfare.  Click here for more information.
