Along with all the feed you will need to keep your birds healthy we also supply supplemental poultry feeds along with mite sprays, tonics and wormers.
Once the addiction has set in and your’re looking to expand your menagerie, Woodside is also home to various breeds and types of ducks and geese along with quail, guinea fowl and peafowl.

Point of Lay Pullets
Woodside has a variety of point of lay pullets available and you can mix these breeds to create your own flock.
They are all hybrids (a cross of 2 pure breed hens) and all our pullets go through a vaccination programme before reaching us which does not have to be repeated once you get them home. We would advise to keep them wormed regularly however.
Feeding your birds
Help provide your hens with a natural balanced diet by feeding them a good quality feed such as layers mash and pellets. This has all the vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy and lay eggs bursting with goodness.
In addition you can give them a handful of mixed corn or cut maize scattered on the ground in the afternoon or early evening, but only a small amount as a treat. We stock a variety of different feeds including organic and our staff are on hand to give you all the advice you need on what to feed your chickens.
Housing
Woodside are your local stockists of quality houses and keep a wide variety of houses and runs in stock to suit your needs.
